Getting to watch the Play was a highlight of my weekend; I had been looking forward to seeing that for about a year and y’all did so great! Sneaking up on the Play, on the other hand, was the most stressed I was all weekend XD (Thank you all for projecting so well! It made my ability to hear my queue possible.)
Getting to be Marrok and just hangout and eat and talk was lovely! I’m generally really nervous about playing face characters, but Marrok is a lot of fun (Steal is also a lot of fun, but Steal also gets to not know things, so he’s a really low-stakes face character). Also, tasty jerky!
Baby anglerfish growing into adult anglerfish was also a lot of fun! Y’all did so good with your singing!

One of my personal favorite moments when I got scared because I went in the woods by myself for a component walk. I know bad idea and an undead snuck up on me and scared the bejesus out of me and I turned and reposed. I enjoy being scared though so it was good.

We invited the anglerfish pet to the play!! Think how differently it would have turned out if Shades were out as Lyki the anglerfish!!! But staff gave one look at him and said “you have Places To Be” with such intensity that we let him go.

In no particular order:
- Not winning the pumpkin carving contest but having Tobin ask Sarah to buy it for him. The top 3 may have won a new companion, but I won the reward of 10 leaf and not having to deal with a pumpkin during clean up.
- All of the commentary from my pocket of peeps at Rickard’s Deal. The death glares I got for applauding when Neln was obliterated fed me in a big way.
- In all honesty though, having studied and performed shakespeare for most of my life I was blown away by the writing of Rickard’s Deal. What I expected and what was delivered were magnitudes apart. It is truly a work of art.
- Going into Umbra and dealing with birds.
- Ducky and Haley dressed as big hairy feet and all the fun being a Lothlan brings.
- Dolan rolling up to TC meeting while we are all talking about him.
- Howling at the moon and hearing Lyki the anglerfish howling back.
- Honest conversations with Kael about leadership.

Finally getting to do the play for the whole town! The fact we had good weather and a bright moon! Getting to hear everyone’s delight as they saw the set and were already excited!
Special mention to Shades’ entrance as our big bad. I was, of course, waiting for the cue, squib in hand and starting to get nervous cuz I don’t see Shades anywhere only for Shambrin to finish his line and immediately hear a loud AF BMV curse call.
Niln, to literally any actor: Right, before we talk about the play tonight or rehearsal, let’s settle your payment.
Every single actor: Wait, we’re getting paid???
Special mention to Gheist, who was very baffled at the idea of getting paid before the performance until a helpful bystander told him to shut up and stop negotiating against himself.
Being a dino and playing the best game of “kick the lumber” with Jasper. Our boy nearly got through the entire warehouse himself with an overflowing pile of jenga block.
Talking to Vai post Flynn’s assassination. “I am going to hunt down everything he cares about” is the highest form of affection from Vai <3
Going out as your friendly neighborhood Rabbit agent and Gheist uses this opportunity to outsource the interrogation to others. I start talking about how I removed my eye because Gheist wanted me to be.
Gheist: I did not!
Me: You said the idea of my pain would bring you joy. The eye is one of the most sensitive appendages, so I thought that would bring the most pain.
Gheist: You’re taking this out of context!
Me: I said I would face punishment for harming you, and you said that my suffering would actually make you feel better.
Gheist, realizing context doesn’t help: We’re done talking about this now.
Getting to wrap up Ettolrahc plot! Talking to Erris afterwards as Charlotte was especially sweet.

Everyone who came on the Strongman Rescue mod was a delight, but I especially enjoyed just letting whatever came to mind out of my mouth (Strongman has No Chill and No Filter).
THE PLAY!!! You all did such an amazing job. Coming over the hill and seeing the setup at the fire pit was completely magical. Vacuilon’s entrance was also so fucking good, I got real-life anxiety when I knew it was coming up because I was nervous about how everyone would react.
All of my dates were amazing, but my absolute favourite moment was when Gheist and Faelan took over Amos’ date before he arrived (and they know what it was).
Surprisingly, the Draca trauma mod made me IRL cry. You are all very sweet and I treasure getting to feel Oak Harbor Friendship when you’ve only known Draca for a little bit.
And finally, All Hail Muffin, future king of dinos (the scarf is perfect and I will be personally wearing it over the winter to break it in a little).

I was so pleased both in and out of game by the ending! Getting and succeeding at the second shot at freeing Pat, leading a successful mission, and that talk after really was the cherry on top. It was so cool to see something from years ago blossom into such a fun and rewarding personal arc.

There were several small moments I felt really stood out. Sitting with Wisteria after the events of the play, alone near the beach was a very nice small moment between Yorick and his employed bard.
Chatting with Zevvi alone about trust and her being his anchor to personhood was fun, as was trying to give her a vial of Yorick’s blood as a gesture for his trust in her reliability. Sadly it was rejected.
Being Jasper’s greatest wingman and setting Jasper and Vel up to be the model formal couple as Yorick’s assistants when educating the fae in human formal events. On that same note, inviting Anatoly to the event and talking about organizing lessons with the Fire fae for his binding.
”I think I just attuned to Dylans sword” had me dying as Brian explained the ritual that took part the night before.
The moment of paranoia I had walking back towards the play after getting the Birdwhistles and using a curse shield I have held onto for years paying off so I could try to save Niln was honestly really fun. I know it amounted to nothing, but it felt like a very cool moment for Yorick and the Heart of Fire working as intended. Damn that second curse root.
Looking at Mesiel’s corpse, then at Prax and Zevvi as we agreed that it was best to death strike him a third time and getting Vai to chop off his head just to triple check he died. It was silly, probably unnessesary but felt correct.
Trading with the Carbunclo. Never felt so happy to have Zevvi walk up and tell me the thing I was expecting came to pass.
Finding myself the last person standing down the hill, seeing Elessar making their way down and shouting for help as I tried to fend off several nightmares at once. Sadly I had way more parries than magical defenses so a packet sleep and a subdue lead to a death that I felt was very fitting for the kind of person Yorick wants to be.
Probably the moment I felt the most vindicated in however, was walking Rachel back towards their home saying how odd it was to have thirty uninterrupted minutes only for Gheist to walk up and say “Yorick people are dying over there we need you.”
It could not have been timed better if I tried.

I enjoyed playing Niln as you and Zevvi were chatting and seeing Zevvi just thoroughly done with you trying to hand her a vial of your blood.
