Move Day, Spring 2017

Hey everyone! It’s that time of year again! Time to move out of the camp!

For those of you who don’t know, Camp Middlesex offers us winter storage but not summer storage (our storage unit on site is actually used as their Nature building during summer camp operations). That means that, over the summer, all of our props and costumes and monsters and trees and tarps and and and go to live in a storage unit in nearby Leominster.

What does this mean for you?

Well, it means that during cleanup after this weekend’s game, we will cleanup not into the shed but directly into a U-Haul that will arrive around the time of game off. It means that we will then take that U-Haul to a storage unit and immediately unload it. And it means we really, really, really need your help.

I know a lot of people often leave right after game-off and don’t help with cleanup. Many of you do stay and help (thank you!). But this game, we’d ask that as many people as can, please stay and help us do this. It’s a bit more work than usual, but many hands make short work, and this is a vital part of us presenting the game you know and love.

As normal, players who stay until the end of cleanup will receive extra bonuses/CP/etc, including a grab-bag item from a bag of elixirs and scrolls (that usually has some pretty awesome things in it). We also usually go and get dinner immediately after dropping things in the storage unit, and this is a great time to talk to staff and other players about game.

Excited to see everyone at Spring 2!
