Spring 2016 Cap Reset and Spring 1 Donations

Hi folks,

The seasonal point cap will rollover at 6 am on 3/21, aka 1 week after PELs from the feast are due. For the moment you can all still edit your characters on the old site, and they will be ported to the new site soon.

Our CP award rates are changing for 2016. Players will continue to receive 1 CP per 2 hours of volunteer labor. For donated goods, you will now receive 1 CP per $25 in donations.

Additionally, anyone who commits at least a week in advance to volunteer for 6 hours in the kitchen may choose convert those 6 hours into free admission for the event (instead of CP or CP+leaf). If there is significant interest in this arrangement, it may be limited to the first few volunteers. Please contact admin-staff@witchwoodroleplaying.com if you are interested. Volunteering in the kitchen for other amounts of time and spontaneously volunteering during an event are, as always, still encouraged.

If anyone is looking for donation opportunities before or after the rollover, here are some things we could use:

I like food and making it easier for folks working the kitchen. So I’ll order get “A”. And also 2 of “C” since it makes a nice even number for the donation.

Thanks so much, both of you.

Another thing we could use that’s more on the crafty side than the spendy side – A sign that says “No Cars” that we can put at the end of the bridge when game starts on Fridays, to remind people not to drive over after 10 pm. (I’m thinking 2’x3’ plywood, or something similar.)

I’ll get the tarps.

If anyone is interested in helping extend the kitchen budget beyond what we get from your registration fees, we are willing to offer a few donation CP for people who chip in. (A number of your tasty meals last year were enhanced in tastiness by some generous donations.)
