Greetings citizens of Oak Harbor,
To all those that come in peace, I intend to build a fire on the beach on Willowsday, eve around dinner time. For those of you that know me, know that fire under the sky with songs and stories is one of my favorite activities, as a song Lyra.
This act of community is an opportunity to enter into a space where songs are shared, sometimes sung together, and sometimes, people bring food.
I may bring a loaf of bread to share.
I will likely have several kinds of instruments.
If you have a song, poem, story, or anything else to share, please come and do so in good company where we gather to channel the creativity of our realm through performance and creation. Come and speak your truth if that is what moves you to create.
From time to time, we’ve been known to engage in consensual finger-jousting. Should you enjoy such an activity, please come and have fun!
