[TL;DR: Please sign up to help in the kitchen and/or take shifts as NPCs!]
Hello Players!
We are excited to have a full fifty players registered for our next event!
But that means we’re going to need some help from you to make things go smoothly.
First, as always, our kitchen is run by players volunteering their time. In order to allow the players who organize this to have fun playing, as well, and to keep them from burning out and leaving us with no one to feed you, we ask that you spend some time in the kitchen helping out if you can. You get 1 CP or 10 leaf per hour working in the kitchen! If you can commit now to working a kitchen shift, that helps planning immensely (both for the kitchen side, and in terms of our ability to schedule plots you might be interested in when you’re not in the kitchen).
The shifts are:
Friday
During setup (5:30 ish until the work is done or the game on meeting): 2 volunteers (prep work and dishes)
Saturday
Throughout the day: 2 volunteers (checking snack availability with ashleigh and making sure snacks are stocked)
7:30 - 9:00: 2 volunteers (cooking, setup, and a bit of serving)
9:00 - 10:00ish: 2 Volunteers (serving and cleanup)
10:00ish until it’s finished: 2 Volunteers (breakfast dishes)
11:30ish - 1:00: 2 volunteers (cooking and setup) (the exact start time depends on how much prep was able to happen on Friday)
12:00: 1 volunteer (inter-meal dishes)
1:00 - 2:00ish: 2 volunteers (serving and cleanup)
2:00ish until it’s finished: 2 Volunteers (lunch dishes)
4:30: 1 volunteer (inter-meal dishes)
5:00 - 6:30: 2 volunteers (cooking and setup)
6:30 - 7:30ish: 2 volunteers (serving and cleanup)
7:30 until it’s finished: 2 Volunteers (dinner dishes)
Sunday
7:30ish - 9:00: 2 volunteers (cooking, setup, and a bit of serving)
9:00 - 10:15ish: 2 volunteers (serving, then packing up food)
10:00ish - Whenever it’s done: 2 Volunteers (packing up food and all breakfast dishes)

There will also be a signup sheet in the kitchen if you can drop in for a little while when you have free time, but committing in advance does make everything run better.
Second, there are enough of you that we are going to need some help giving you enough opponents to make fights fun. To that end, we are asking you to let us know if you’re willing to take a 2-3 hour shift playing NPC opponents. An NPC shift is worth 1 CP or 10 leaf. Please sign up here: WW Spring 1 '24 NPC Shifts - Google Sheets if you are interested, and let us know if you have any availability issues (e.g. won’t be around all event, will be going to bed early Saturday, can only play a caster not a melee combatant). We’ll let you know at checkin when we have scheduled your NPC shift for. Bring a set of black clothes if you’re planning to NPC, we will supply any other costuming/props you need.
