hi there!! my name is lucy (or courtney; either is fine!), i use she/her pronouns, and i’m in the greater boston area. i was recommended this game via a friend of a friend (shout out to kat, who does not play here). i’m a strict noncom who generally prefers campaign-style larping and has a tragic history of looking at games with noncom rules and having my more mechanically savvy friend go “here’s how these rules will ratfuck you, actually,” so let me tell you, when my friend instead went “actually this looks really good for what you want out of a game,” my delight was unparalleled.
i’m a regular npc at terres rising (pspspsps we have a game this weekend pspsps) and i’ve done some npcing at some miscellaneous campaign larps in the past, and have also attended and staffed at festival larps like shirefolk and drachenfest! i went to one whole intercon and might go to another when life allows.
my friends, partner, and i (all terres rising folks who also went mo_om at the rules as we went over them) are hoping to make it to spring two, some as npcs and some as pcs—myself as the latter, assuming the player cap hasn’t been hit! i might come back here with questions later but just wanted to introduce myself real quick first.
besides larping, i crochet, collect ball-jointed fashion dolls, play a lot of ttrpgs (my two campaigns are both d&d 5e right now but i prefer rules-lite indie stuff), draw, and put glitter on things. i do some webdev too and love the neocities movement/indie web revival (here’s my website!). talk to me about zero escape, fire emblem, pokémon but specifically the worldbuilding and idea of mundane life within the world instead of competitive battling or whatever, and/or stardew valley.
