Just wondering what types of games are appropriate to have around for slow times at the event or during the soft-stop if people want to stay up late. The last Larp I played had a lot of poker players, and I have set of cards and chips that don’t look anachronistic. Would that be inappropriate to bring?

Poker definitely exists in the game world. (The most popular variant is called “Asola Hold’em.” Poker is actually a bit of a plot point right now…)
Other not-too anachronistic games are also fine.
We had a runic dice game floating around at some point…
Excellent! I also have a set of liar’s dice with leather cups and wooden dice that I’ll bring.
