Hello!
I’m Shades Meyers, and I’ve been a crunchy/staffer for Witchwood since either late 2018 or early 2019. I originally came to Witchwood from Port Katherine. You might know me as Steal the kobold, or Marrok the Great Wolf Spirit. I also do some writing behind the scenes. I also briefly crunched for Entanglement. Through RFR I have made a bunch of friends, and discovered LARPing as a life passion. LARP is enough of a passion for me that I brought my partner to crunch Spring 1 of Witchwood this year. (She had a blast, by the way; thank you to everyone who made her feel welcome at her first ever LARP!)
I am running for a seat on the board because I want to help RFR be successful in any way I can. On that note, one of my past careers was as a bookkeeper. I hope that, if elected, I can put that experience to good use. My goal is to streamline the bookkeeping in such a way that RFR can put out financial statements again. Maybe I’m just a nerd (shocking in a hobby such as ours, I know), but I releally appreciated reading through the old financial statements, and I want to bring that back.
