Is there a step by step checklist to joining in on this? What to read first, how to make a character, all that jazz?

There isn’t, but let me try to get at least four things that will help immensely:

  1. Read the rulebook, cover to cover. (https://www.witchwoodroleplaying.com/rules) There’s so much good stuff in there.

  2. Join our Facebook discussion group and introduce yourself to people. (https://www.facebook.com/groups/681865295280490/) You’ll get so much more help from everyone than from just me.

  3. Put together a character on paper and see what you think. Come up with a concept, an idea, and put a few sentences to the idea. Then put some stats to it. If you like, post those stats to FB. Get opinions. Get suggestions. Then, once you feel comfortable, go to https://www.witchwoodroleplaying.com/characters and make your character - the system should walk you through pretty easily, and we’re all here to help you as much as we can.

  4. Come to game and have fun! We’ve all been new, and we’ll be super happy to help you make sure you get lessons and advancement and plots to go on, etc!
