I carry with me something called The Way of The Two Faces. It is a fighting art old enough to have no single homeland, gathered piece by piece from every road I have walked and every road walked by those that were kind enough to teach me. I pass it on in the same spirit.
It has structure and ranks, but it isn’t just about a set of techniques; it is a way of thinking about a fight. Its principles work with any weapon you already carry. Those among you who favor two short blades will find the deeper you go, the more deadly your two short weapons become.
Study with me, and earn rank in this art. That rank is recognized across Evren, and in certain other places besides. With each step along the path, you will find yourself a little harder to kill, a little more dangerous, and a little more certain of yourself when things go wrong.
I am not here to make soldiers. Whether you have never drawn a weapon in anger or whether you have seen the worst a battlefield offers, this art has something for you. Take what serves you. Leave the rest. My knowledge costs you nothing but your time and your attention.
