I am pleased to announce that Witchwood is starting a collaborative childcare program! Accessibility at our game is one of our most important values, and we recognize that parenting a young child makes it difficult or impossible to continue to participate in the LARPing community. Our program is currently being designed by myself, with input from parents within the community. This program would rely on participating parents (and potentially, community volunteers) to spend a portion of their game caring for the participating children, while the other parents are out in game. The children will have their own cabin and outside area set away from the game space. Currently, the program is intended for children under 5 years old.
